Hi, can you please tell me what did you use to get a HTTPS server running? I used prpl-server command to run a http-server however, the "Add to homescreen" button beside the manifest does not show up in this case

I liked this video. Noticed a few minor discrepancies between the code in the video and the git repo, looks like some methods were renamed but I may have missed something. In my code a lighthouse audit gave PWA score of 'installable 2/3' while the git repo (referenced below) scored 3/3, so I still have something to fix.

just tried the git repo (after swapping the api key for my own), still got a minor error

The FetchEvent for "<URL>" resulted in a network error response: an object that was not a Response was passed to respondWith().

Tutorial is clear, I've done everything as said but I keep getting console error "Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to fetch" and the Lighthouse result says that the page is "Installable" but warns that the page does not work offline. The page will not be regarded as installable after Chrome 93, stable release August 2021. explains that if you only defined a fetch handler stub, or if your offline mode isn't working properly a resource is not returned with an HTTP 200 response code and so it will not pass as PWA after August. Any comments on how to rectify this?

Why bother when you already have an app? There is no point in duplicating something you already have. You're just creating a whole bunch of unnecessary code.
